The pictures dont do it justice. Ive only been able to find one other like it in a long time searching and garnered my information on it from there listing online (see below). This info though is speculative and wondered if anyone knew any more about this wonderful piece? Thanks in advance.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>This large 15 inch long weighty brass page turner/ paper knife dates to circa 1870 and is decorated in a mythological style with I believe a satyr head and large headed snake on handles, the blade itself is floral in style, the pattern is repeated both sides.
