Featured tribal dangle necklace

    It looks like a Hill Tribes or Chinese Minorities torque from Southeast Asia. They have those birdshead shaped backfolded ends, and their jewellery has a lot of dangles. The use of cones, butterflies and fish is also typical of the region.

    Difficult to say, they are still making them. They are very proud of their culture and wear traditional dress with a lot of jewellery for festive occasions.

    One of the best known tribes in the region is the Miao. Worth googling.:)
