This Pat seems to be attributed to different names coming up. 1930's? Ballou Morehouse Maybe? so I am hoping someone might be able to help me attribute this correctly. I found Pat. 1967965 on the earrings. Nothing on the bracelet or necklace but gosh this is pretty. Jewelry(1)(1).jpg IMG_4344(2).jpg

1950s to my eye. The earrings are marked with that patent number? According to the US Government Trademark web site, that's a software patent from 1996.

Also found a jewelry patent on the USPTO.gov for 7-24-1934 Eugene Morehouse and Melvin Moore. I have never heard of these makers. Hmmm

Wow! Yes indeed this is what the earring clip on looks like. Does this mean other jewelers could use the design by paying for usage?

They were the inventors but jewelry-maker B.A. Ballou of Rhode Island held the patent.

Similar to these by TRIFARI, aren't they?

These two brooches came up in a reverse image search and link to a reference page on Morning Glory Collects website. The one with colored stones is marked Sterling.

Unfortunately, no ID of the maker is given. Somewhere out there in the world, someone probably has some of this jewelry with original packaging, or has old catalogs / magazine or newspaper ads and someday the maker might be identified. I'm guessing if Morning Glory has never been able to identify the maker, so far no one knows where these came from, lol.

You have to scroll the whole page to find these two. I couldn't find a way to link directly to each item.
