Hello everyone and thank you for being here and allowing me to post.

I am not well-versed in woodworking or furniture, but I recently began working as office administrator at a small restoration shop.

We delivered an item today that I would love to know the origin of. I don't have any pictures with me at home, but I'm hoping my description will help point me to who made it and when.

It is a four drawer dresser or possible chest of drawers. The top two drawers are side by side and curved. I think I heard them say it was tiger oak made in the late 19th century. It is dark wood and is about 42-48 inches tall. There are no casters.

The handles are brass and are not knobs, they flip up and down like a door knocker.

I have been looking at pictures online since I got off work two hours ago, but haven't quite found it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Turn of the century serpentine front golden oak period dresser. Missing mirror. Hardware is not original.

The owner said it was made in New York, but didn't know which company made it. Thank you. I saw that photo online, but I wasn't sure if it was the same until I saw his piece again.

Welcome to Antiquers, @Confusedcraftsman . You didn't say whether you are trying to find one like it, but in any case -- I hope you have the information you are looking for.
