    Hi everyone,
The below bracelet was purchased as Tuareg cuff bracelet, sterling silver and ebony. Recently I had someone asking me if it’s horn. How can I be sure of what material is made of? Would appreciate your thoughts.
    Thank you.
    Kind regards,
    Simona

These cuff bracelets are made of horn and blackened with ebony ash. It is the style of the Tuareg of Mauritania.
Did you test the silver? They do use silver sometimes, sometimes other silvertone metals.
Not all Tuareg silver is sterling. Recent pieces can be sterling silver, older Tuareg silver is usually 'Maria Theresia Taler silver' or MTT silver, .833 fineness.

It is horn from a specific animal, but I can't remember now. If I remember, I will post it.
