    There's a guy on etsy who sells these types, and they sell really well, I think he even breaks pieces purposefully in order to make them

    Looks really effective though

    Is it real gold used?

    Yes, it is very popular now. Breaking grandma's precious porcelain and glueing it.:hilarious: You don't even have to make sure the glue isn't noticeable.:D
    Not on the newly broken ones, I don't think. There are kintsugi sets now, and judging from the prices, no real gold is used.

    That might be a great option then, awesome, might smash it up a bit more to even it out

    Might get raffi to come by more and smash a few more other things !!:)

    Been researching it alot

    The kits that you can buy, end up more orange than gold

    I've seen professional vids on you tube and the whole process is long and real gold leaf is used for a decent outcome

    Very interesting though

    Looks amazing when done well
