Your picture makes it look like the glass is actually green.
Their pictures look like the green is applied.
Can you tell us which it is, please.

    Your pictures are better.

Thanks Pat. The glass is green. Not applied. I thought it was interesting how it fades to clear.

I suspect Same Cristallerie may be an import company

I have a large, hand-painted glass bowl (circa 1980s?) with this clear, adhesive label. Do you think they are related?

SI-AN is an Empoli glassmaker. SC is also Empoli based, but not the same bunch.

Thanks Bear - I could not find much about them online (thought they were justan importer/retailer) and have been trying to sell this monstrosity for a few YEARS. I thought that if I had found new information I could tart up the description.............but stay the same it will (I will add that they are based in Empoli though).

You're welcome. I've a couple of SI-AN bits and have had shedloads of other Empoli. My Italian isn't brilliant, but it's enough to read websites!

So it would be safe to say the this candlestick is Empoli glass, Ownedbybear? Based on the decorator/exporter being Empoli based.

I'd say certainly fine to call it Empoli.
