It has inset Art Nouveau tiles on each side, depicting fairies. The black tiles appear to have the name of the fairy written in the corner of each tile (eg. Daisy, Water Lily). The brown tiles seem to have simply corner motifs.</p><p>The seller reckons that the desk might be from the UK, which seems very plausible. One thing seems certain - and that is that there ain&#039;t many of them around.
