The form, thickness, and bottom make me think Bristol glass. However, I've never seen Bristol done in a slag type glass. It is typically white and hand painted. TIA, Joe

ARG! Sorry, I really HATE that Bristol Glass term, it's as misused as Mary Gregory. ;) Or Murano, for that matter.

That looks of recent manufacture, in the manner of Bohemian spatter glass. Not slag.

Reminds me of remelted cullet ala Sooner Glass. The shape is classic made by every blower in some fashion.

Which really sucks when you DO have an authentic piece of EARLY Bristol glass.

Bear, how about the old blown rolling pins? I think some (many?) of those are authentic Bristol. Nailsea for sure on others. The dark bottle green with white spots are supposedly from Bristol, early 19th..

I would have thought 1930s Czech.
    Is the top ground?
Sometimes faintly marked and difficult to find, an acid etch "Made in Czechoslovakia"

    I agree with 1930s Czech. . . more or less. . .;)
