This might help me at least narrow down the geographical area of origin. I had assumed - wrongly, it seems - that this type of seal was a feature of Japanese wares.</p><p><br /></p><p>ALSO - I&#039;ve got a bit of a dilemma, I am considering paying for the vase to be sent to my home address (and accept the risk of damage) rather than the hassle of having to spend the best part of a day travelling, as well as the cost involved.
