    Hello again good people :)

The base is flat and highly polished with some significant wear. I think it is leaded glass/crystal but not 100% sure. The base and finial on top appear to be a torch/flame like design. Feels pretty old to me. Any ideas where this one might be from? I'm kinda stumped. Thanks for looking!

9.75 inches high with the lid on. The bowl is 5" in diameter.

In the 6th photo down, I can almost detect some etched initials in the 3:30-4:00 o'clock position. A M???

Hi Sandra, thanks for pointing that out! I'm not seeing anything on the base that looks like a mark or sig (assuming i'm looking at the same photo you are). I went back over the base just to be sure. I did, however, notice what appears to be a cut/ or engraved signature? or mark - on the outside of bottom edge of the lid - at first I thought it was glue residue from the tape they had on this at the store - then I ran my finger over it and noticed it was cut into the glass:

That does look like something deliberate. To me, it looks like 1 standing and 2 sitting figures.

    I flipped it for you

Your photos and the glass are dreamy, @aaroncab

ZZZZZZ GLASS BOTTOM.jpg @Sandra, To me it looks like what you're seeing are scratches on the base of the glass.......ALTHOUGH where I've circled in red.....it sort of does look like the initials G E.....IMHO!!!

That base has a familiar look to it like something Holmgaard would have made.

Thanks George, it's certainly something to look into, and I will :)

Deceiving internal reflections in the glass :)

Shape is Empoli, base looks Scandi. How odd.
