Found this today scanning a thrift store cart of books about to be put up. Saw the binding and instantly knew it was an older book.

Saw the cover and instantly knew no matter how old it was coming home with me.
Its so unique! The illustrations bring me slight joy in their quirkiness.
If I wouldnt feel guilty as sin Id pull the illustrations out and frame them.

Since I will be selling this book in the near future I searched and found only 1 on ebay (really, the only one I found regardless) with 12 bids, ending at $67.66, so Im guessing there is some kind of collectable value?

    Does anyone know anything about this book? 20160328_134002_20160328134617870.jpg 20160328_134904_20160328135515861.jpg collage_20160328135246237_20160328135253242.jpg collage_20160328134820910_20160328134828466.jpg 20160328_134955_20160328135113000.jpg

Yours doesn't look like its properly bound to me. Maybe someone added black tape to cover a lost spine.

Screen Shot 2016-03-28 at 6.36.56 PM.png I thought they were pods or eggs - we see these on the shoreline here sometimes, and always identified them as shark eggs:

so fascinating - she's holding toys, I believe...

You know I just realized what it makes me think of... One of my favorite childhood movies. The Incredible Mr. Limpet ;)
