Valuation of Thomas Gainsborough parish clerk

Does anybody know what the valuation of a picture like this would be? I hope to add pictures of the item in the next couple of days.

Not without photographs. Front and back including frame and close-ups of signature and any labels, stickers and handwritten notations.

I was able to take a couple of pictures of the picture and just wondered if anybody could give me any more info on it? It looks like it is on a canvases.

 

Guess you didn't notice, Robbi, but your close-up photograph of the sticker is out of focus and illegible. To help us help you, would you be kind enough to post a better quality photograph?

Back of the frame does not really show any oxidation or age to it. Can you tell how the frame is constructed ie. nails through the corners.

The frame is pretty solid and can’t see any nails in it but marks that could resemble some type of fixing possible nails? The picture has got staples on the back of the picture.

Bud - you started a new thread on Wednesday - Help With Lamp. Perhaps you do not remember how you did that.

To start a new thread, choose the Forum you want to post your new thread in and at the top of the Forum you will see a blue box upper right that says "Post New Thread." Click on it and that will open a form to use to start thread. Is that not what you want to do?

 

Your close-up photograph of the sticker is still out of focus. It appears to be technical information. (I see "on to canvas" and "plates.") You might want to post a good quality photograph asap so that people don't waste their time trying to help you when the information needed to do so might already be available.
