Value on this painting?

Hello everyone. I found this Don troiani civil war print in a local antique shop. I am familiar with his prints but unsure on this one. Most of his prints are limited to 1000s of copies, but this one is limited to 15. The print is called “Garryowen” depicting troops during the war. It looks in good condition and I am not sure if the COA is on the back of the frame. As this one is only out of 15 and considered a “giclee” print of his, do you think it is worth more than the $300 price tag? I cannot find another example of this same print numbered to 15 online. The COA for other prints shows there are only 15 giclee prints, which leads me to believe that is what this is. I am thinking of buying. Thank you for any thoughts or help it is appreciated

I guess you can look at it as buying a professional framing job and getting a nice print.

I’m not sure yet, depending on value. Leaning towards for myself due to the fact that it’ll take a special buyer for this.

 

Prices for giclée on his site have gone down by $50 since last year, but maybe that's because he no longer signs them
"I can no longer personally sign GiClee prints due to some extremely important family issues. I just won't have the time to make the drive to the printer every week to do it. at only 15 issued , it sounds like they don't print them, till they sell one.........then he has to sign it !!

Given that this one is not on his website and it is signed in the lower right (bad picture sorry but it is there), I’m guessing the 15 copies sold a while ago. The print is also copyright 2002 I believe. After all, it is in an antique store haha. Since his giclees on his website are well over 300 dollars, I see this as a good price to buy at?

The pretense of an "artist's proof" or numbering "editions" of a giclee print seems like marketing puffery. He can fire up the fancy printer and create more any time he wants, and they will be identical.
