Featured VERY Old Ceramic Bottle Vase

    I'd be very grateful to get any information regarding this (apparently) very old ceramic vase which stands at c. 16 cm high.

    The seller suggested that it is likely Asian, although it looks more of European origin to me.

    Am much obliged for any info or suggestions regarding likely date and origin !

    A google image search brings up similar, calling them Persian.
    But I know nothing about this... let's see what others say!

    Sincere thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
    After subsequent research - thanks to your help - I've managed to locate on line a very similar vase which is said to Persian and dates from c. 1800.
    Problem solved !

    It is a Qajar dynasty oil bottle, so Persian/Iranian. It looks 'very' old because it is saturated with oil.
    Looking at the way it is painted, I would say late 19th century.
    Seller is right, as are bluumz and obb.
