Would I be correct to think this is Victorian with the long pin?
Although it’s just glass, it’s nicely constructed. Apart from the missing central gem, one of the small ones and an obvious replacement the stones are all neatly fitted with no sign of glue although I suppose there must be some?
I don’t know if it has any silver content as my acid is off but it has polished up much better than expected.
There are little cross impressions in between each gem.
    Unmarked.
Any ideas on age or origin please?
    Thankyou.

A bit more sparkly after a wash! Lost the replacement stone in the process but it needed to come out anyway.

Love the way, now it's cleaned up, the stones refract light. Paste or crystal, surely.

Think you can safely date to the Victorian era; placing it with any more precision is tough, since those findings were used for so long. Maybe the way the stones are set will mean more to another joolie.

Certainly late 19th, maybe tipping into 20th. That hinge is starting to shorten down and I think earlier would have been prong set. I don't think it had a centre stone.
