I thought I had posted this before, but I couldn’t find it. I love this crazy heavy plant stand. Not sure how old it actually is, or where it was made, or by whom it was made. It’s a common enough design that I imagine it could be difficult to pin down, but any info or leads are much appreciated.

I am sorry for the picture quality, will try to do better when I unpack, if needed.

I found one that is remarkably similar, but definitely not the same, that’s the last picture.

Id say they had it right. Victorian would have been my guess. Its probably lovely but my does it need a good scrub. The bottom does give me pause though. Could be later than Victorian.

Oh boy does the poor thing need a spa day… or maybe a week! I’m a little confused though by what you mean about the bottom. Also, the lousy quality of the screenshot didn’t make it clear, but there are some serious differences between my plant stand and the one from invaluable.
The feet on mine, vs. the feet on the auctioned one:

The legs on mine (round and decorated) vs. the auctioned one (square/rectangular and undecorated):

Do the rounded legs indicate a later era? So many things I don’t know!

I'd say 1890s onyx and wrought iron plant stand. The metal looks to have been painted gold, which makes sense for the time period. Pretty, but at the low end of value given it's condition.

Glad to have confirmation of my guess that retail value is low - means I don’t have to feel bad for not selling it :)
