Any Vincent van Gogh experts aboard?

I have the opportunity to buy this painting. Signed Vincent. And in style of his signature. If it should be real. It should have been in it's early period.

    I know the chance is 0,0000...1 % it's real.

    But how sweet if it's real... 20190720_165756.jpg 20190720_211202.jpg 20190720_211121.jpg 20190720_210959.jpg 20190720_210959.jpg

From photos? May be possible to confirm it's not, but not possible to confirm it is.

    Any photo of the back?

ooh, excellent point. The work of some well-known forgers have monetary value, don't know if it's true of this one or not.

Nothing about it strikes me as van Gogh, sorry.
It would have had to be painted during his early, Dutch period. Some of his farmhouse paintings from that period:

    Drenthe:

    Brabant, Nuenen:

I think someone just put the name on an existing painting from a slightly later period.

What is that supposed to say, INH? The type is too small for these old eyes.

Shoud be canvas on cardboard with marble coloured back paper.

I also dont expect any one saying it's real. But all extra info is welcome so I can decide if i should buy it...

Unlike AJ, I think it's very Van Gogh and I would argue for late, not early.

    So. Is this helping? :joyful:

    I don't like the back.

I may have to dig out books for this one.

Or... I may think the palette is late and the style earlier.

The etiket on the back is from a printing office in Antwerp Belgium. O platteau en Co... Maybe the cardboard or marble coloured paper comes from there?

Does it come with any verifiable provenance? Or is it supposed to be an unknown work that has been hidden away in a private collection all these years?

20190722_210059.jpg @Any Jewelry : I think you are right. It should be from it's early period at Brabant. There are a few that look a bit more like it....
