Doesn't look terribly old. Where in the world did you find it and what do you know about it? Does it have any markings? Would/could you post a photograph of the full lamp plus shade?

Yes I will try to take some photos of it when I get home. It doesn't have a shade. Wish it did. I'm not sure about any markings. I guess I need to look it over better. Thanks for the reply

By way, are you sure that's a stag?

No not really. I thought maybe a stag, reindeer or some type of deer.

They aren't the best though. Like I was saying before any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks again

Those tack welds holding it to the base are kind of conspicuously placed. Could it be a marriage?

Yes I saw that. I didn't know if the Stag was originally on the lamp base or if someone had put it on there later on. I've tried to find a photo of one like it but no luck. Thanks for the reply

Not hard to sell though, if you want to. The base looks Asian in style, and deer are good luck in parts of southeast Asia. Probably China, but for sure in Viet Nam. Thailand too if memory holds.

Thanks for the reply. Good info. I'll probably just hang on to it. Never know may see a photo of the lamp or the deer sometime.
