Found this cannon at an estate sale. Tried diligently to find something like it, but have come up snake eyes thus far.
Anyone have some ideas on age or value?
It's made in Spain, has some initials on the bottom and appears very vintage.
Any help or input would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Seems to me these were popular decoration pieces from the 1970s.

Dark wood paneling, brass plaques on the wall, mini knights in armor, guns, axes etc.
    Possibly made as souvenirs.

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

To me it does look like a mini newer reproduction/decoration, HOWEVER, 1. I'm not the expert, and 2. Going to wait for the expert.....don't want to see you disappointed if it IS real!!!!

Just an addendum, I have a nice-ish, similar but larger cannon repro (no wood on ours), sitting in our front yard that we paid $125.USD for quite a few years ago, that I've seen going for $1000. USD.....what are people thinking sometimes!!!!

    Man cave decor.

Kissing cousin of 'very unique.' Although I once saw an eBay listing for a vintage graduation charm that was from 2 years earlier.

I usually use "vintage" when it's not quite antique. Or I just don't know how old it is....lol.

It's got a nice look to it. Definitely some craftsmanship in putting the metal pieces so nicely over the wood.
It's a little less than a foot long from end to end, when the metal catch at the end is extended. Not sure if the metal spike coming out the end is actually supposed to be used to hold it in place if someone really wanted to fire the thing, but it does have a fuse hole in the barrell.

that seems likely......some of these were made so a charge could be fired..

A little souvenir. Given plaque design, I think 1970s about right.
