    I got this strange painting from a storage.I had this on another site,still didn't get much information that help.I tried looking painting up but I can't fingure out name.There's a strange poem on the back.Look like the painter is painting himself in the mirror and signed it also signed on the back,Morb SAM_0278.JPG SAM_0279.JPG SAM_0280.JPG SAM_0281.JPG SAM_0282.JPG SAM_0283.JPG id weird.

    Not really...Mortler...Hoffler...Norther...hard to say...you may never know for sure. I believe it is outsider art as April suggested.

    Before reading the back I was going to suggest the title Portrait of the Artist as a Young Vampire. Art or therapy?

    Sounds like he was a tortured individual; may have been a cry for help before ending his own life... weird and a bit creepy!

    Name looks like Northen or Norther to me. But I don't think it matters much in this case. If you're selling it, I think you'll find an audience. At first I thought, "perfect for atmosphere during Halloween season." But also, the stereotype of the tormented or tortured artist works, for sure.

    Not that I’m well-off at the moment, but let me know what you would ask + shipping? Probably can’t afford (and it’s definitely worth a lot), but doesn’t hurt {much} to ask!
