The other day I posted a serving tray on there, but I was wrong. It’s a tea serving tray. Marking on the bottom of the four tea set, The Van Bergh Sp Co. Rochester, NY. Quadruple plate, 25. I found the rest of the set. Now see what its worth?

I do not see that those pieces match the tray in any way. The mark you showed on the tray in your other post was not Van Bergh. Is the mark you are showing today on the tray or just on the tea pieces?

In addition the tray and the serving pieces are from different design and manufacturing periods.

Could you explain why you think they go together?

Unfortunately, "coming with" means very little in this case. The tray still has significant condition issues that make it very low value, if any at all. Having it with the other 4 pieces will only drag down the appeal to a buyer - and if selling on line will significantly increase postage.

You will get far more for the tray as scrap copper.

Agree that's not a set. If it were, the grape motif would continue on the serving pieces.

Thrifts are groaning with silver plated stuff. Very little is worth much.
