I'll post some pictures of some I recently purchased later on tonight. The ones I see mainly are for factories and other industrial facilities. Anybody have any good websites or resources for these and have any idea on how exactly there were used?

Most factories had/ have tool cribs. At the tool crib, employees would leave their tool check tag to "sign out a tool" The tool was stored in a draw or pigeon hole. It would have a description & inventory #. The tool crib attendant would take your chit and place it in the pigeon hole and hand you what was in there. Then you returned the item the attendant would return your chit. Most companies limited your chits to around 5 each employee.Hope that helps
