vintage vollrath stainless steel bowl

    I have a vintage Vollrath stainless steel bowl. Dimensions are about 9.75" dia. x 3 3/4" tall. The bowl does not have the number of quarts inscribed on it. If I want to find the number of quarts in a bowl, would I measure out a liquid like water and fill the bowl up to the rim? Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob
