Not Philistine, educated. And the Horta was named after one of the SFX people. A truly excellent episode, Devil in the Dark. Later fiction included a Horta crew member on NCC 1701.

Tough decision because I think I have several in my house. Except Baroque/Rococo. Victorian is fussy, but not garish and I do have some Victorian pieces. I don't have Art Deco because it would clash. My partiality is Federal.

Bev, you have several Hortas in your house? I thought they lived in caves ;)

It probably fits under 'Victorian', but my 2 all time favorite styles in any and everything are the Aesthetics Movement (#1), and Arts & Crafts (#2) The Eastlake substyle comes in a close 3rd :)
