I’ve been gifted two pocket gloves and a number of Japanese woodblock prints.
I have no idea how to take care of them and would like to sell them.
I also haven’t the faintest clue on how to proceed.
I’ve looked online and there seems to be a consensus to try and avoid going through an auction house or a dealer.
Is it realistic for me to expect to able to sell them directly to a collector?
I’ve tried to upload photos from my phone but they’re too large?

The globes are a “cushee” and a “watkins”.
The Japanese prints are a variety of artists, one is by tamaro called mother with pups.
    Any help is appreciated

Welcome, @Hakuhou. Someone will be along shortly with instructions for posting photographs. In the meantime, you can get a general idea of collector interest by browsing the completed, sold and active listings on eBay. (If you need help in doing so, let us know.)

Thanks Debora, do I just search eBay for the items or are there links on this site?

From what I understand this is an original print.

They were gifts so if they’re worthless I’m happy to hang’em and look at em.
The pocket globes are cool as well, might just stick them in a display case somewhere in the house.

Here's a web site that will help you identify your woodblocks. Or you can do a Google Lens search and see if you get lucky.

Thanks Debora, found them all. Shocked at the variety in each one. The lass with the dogs seems to be the rarest. Others look like dime a dozen.
Kids have claimed one of each (boy has gone with the bandit and the girl with the “scary lady” one with the mask) so going to being hanging them in their rooms tmw.

Looks like the pocket globes will be hard to find someone for. There’s no posts on this site about the topic, will have to look up some dealers in London.
