<p>
This bottom of the box is marked "Au Louvre Paris" so I'm thinking these were perhaps something from the gift shop. There are 13 stamps that fit into the roller plus a small brush. The stamps are wood with some type of material over them - could be rubber that's hardened over the years, but it doesn't chip or peel and it has tiny sparkles in the surface. As you can see, there's a variety of designs, and most appear to be borders of some sort. On the roller, there's a black felt type roller that presses hard against the stamp.</p><p><br /></p><p>Any ideas on what these are, how old, etc?</p><p><br /></p><p>Thanks so much!</p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/Ascot/fullsizeoutput_26a1.jpeg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/Ascot/fullsizeoutput_26a2.jpeg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> <img src="http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/Ascot/DSC00952.JPG" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/Ascot/fullsizeoutput_26a4.jpeg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/Ascot/DSC00956.JPG" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://imgs.inkfrog.com/pix/Ascot/DSC00955.JPG" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" />
</p><p><br /></p>
