Featured What do you think this neckless made with

    Picked up this today and not sure what to think. Could this be amber or maybe Bakelite.
    I'm pretty sure metal is silver, at least it tests as silver.
    Any idea?

    The torc/neck ring part is Mexican silver; the mark is a mess, but that's what it looks like. The dangle looks like amber.

    Amber is likely, get a UV light on that.

    Agree with both previous posts. The pendant could be Polish amber, look for tiny silver assay marks as well as the UV test.

    Good point. And the pendent on this one makes me think it's of the latter date.
