WHAT IS SCENE ON VINTAGE HAND CARVED CROSS BOW STOCK

    Found this today at thrift store! Can someone please tell me what the scene carved into one side is?
    I thought I saw the last supper under a palm tree?!
    Thank you!
    PS - I posted here because the carving is art, right? :)

    I'm not seeing a last supper. I think that rayed expanse is supposed to be water reflecting light (kismet, that bit of glare), with tropic isles in the distance.

    I think both MOS and Aqui have hit on pieces. I see two huts inside a fenced yard with a large body of water in the valley below. The valley is protected by three large mountains.

    Not sure what you’re smoking to get JC and the apostles out of it but puff puff give ; )
