I found this 18" x 13" image at an estate sale on a farm. @bosko69 might agree that it sure looks like one of those gloomy winter days at the Oregon coast. No signatures or anything, but the medium and material it's on is puzzling: it feels like textured tracing paper. Maybe synthetic? It's translucent. Maybe pastels? It doesn't smear or smudge though. The image is clear on the back too, and has even transferred to the backing paper board. Huh? What is it? Thanks for any help!
Nice piece-wonder if it's on a thick tracing vellum (modern obviously, not animal vellum). Does it seem to have a plastic binder (slickness) in it. Pastel/Oil Pastel with a heavy fixative on it, and is there a bit of waviness to it ?
Thanks for thoughts @bosko69. The waviness is my pics is my camera misinterpreting the kind of raised cross-fiber texture of the paper, if that makes sense. It is kinda of glossy and slick, as in that lightly folded-over pic above.
