Featured What Is This Little Bird?

    It’s a small bird, cast in metal, I can blow through the two small holes…they are connected….Perhaps some kind of sprayer jet for a fountain or?

    Is there perhaps something missing from the head of the bird?looks to me like something has broken off.

    Maybe a little pan or holder missing? Some kind of novelty smoking pipe? (Just a guessing here)!

    It's a cast metal bird whistle. The mouth piece that produces the whistle is missing. It would fit into the hole near the tail.
