    I have garnets from a number of USA locations.I like the Cowee Valley NC Rhodolite garnets which are light purple.... cowee garnet.jpg

    Carnelian from southern Washington state,Opal from Spencer Idaho....Obsidian,Thunder eggs,petrified wood,Holly blue agate from Oregon and a number of others from different states. carnelian1.JPG opal picture.jpg

    The mystery garnet is lovely! Let us know what you find out! FYI, I have a Presidium and can confirm CZ tests at the very low end, same area as glass.
