Not expecting huge value on these, and sorry to put them under "tribal", wasn't sure where to post.

Any keywords or guesses on material for this 9" spoon fork set? Thinking bone, looking at Ebay --they feel plastic-like, not heavy at all. Thoughts?

Not tribal. Colonial silver, made in a Javanese stately region. Java and other Indonesian stately regions are not tribal.
Blonde (water)buffalo horn with Djokja/Yogya silver lotus decorations. A classic colonial salad serving set, probably made in the 1930s. I have a similar set.

Great information Any Jewelry. I would have guessed some type of acrylic plastic.

It helps that I have a similar set, and see a lot of Yogya silver here.
They also made buffalo horn side dishes with silver appliqué handles, and other smallish horn and silver items. Mostly with blonde horn, which was more valuable.

Excellent info. I kind of wondered if that part on the handles was silver. It is nicely done which is what caught my eye with these overall. Thank you.

I was going to say horn, too, based on horn beads I've had.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about using them with food, but think they'd look lovely mounted in a shadow box.
