I can't identify this odd spoon--possibly a sugar sifter? The back is marked KRAFT, followed by a series of tiny numbers and an unreadable pictograph. oddspoon2.jpg oddspoon1.jpg Any thoughts?

Not sure what it's for but I believe it's Robert Kraft, alpacca silver.

I think you could pick up anything and leave the juice or whatever behind. Oysters maybe?

Don't know about "Robert" but it's "alpacca" - a European (usually) alloy containing not one iota of silver.

As to function, I would think the holes are more liking for draining rather than sifting. The "wall" between the solid piece and the piece with holes is very odd.

I thought maybe absinthe, but still don't get the barrier :\ But if you run into one of these, you'll be set:

If I had someone to drink it with...I would.....but the stuff scares me , ..to think of drinking it alone !!
What if the sugar falls off the spoon..??
What if I develop a taste for it??
What if I become.....".Absinthe" minded..?? heehehe!!!!!

    Hi,
I had an Absinthe drink last year. It was horrible!!!! Of course I hate black licorice with a passion. It all started when I was a kid. A neighbor gave me an Italian shot of liquor when I was 6 or 7. To this day I not not like black or brown licorice.

If able, I would fly to Schiphol Airport solely to visit Duty Free and buy lots and lots of salted licorice.........................even when I can get the same brands here in the state, they never taste the same as the stuff I buy in Netherlands...........same with Heiniken..............

It's the red licorice I'm addicted to....which is why I RARELY eat it....starts me on a binge if I do!!!!!!

I think I had read that that stuff destroyed many lives, of course it poured itself down their throats. :p
Was it outlawed in France or at least Paris?
