What type of glass is this?

    I can't find any other examples of this style of decorative glass (in google images). It looks like it is cut rather than etched. It has beveled edges.

    Is it worth anything? My mother purchased it in California from an architectural salvage yard. The wood frames are rather loose. The pair measures 33.25 x 39.75.

    Etched. Probably sand-blasted.

    Could be wheel-cut.

    First thought is wheel cut, but could be both. Look at it with a magnifying glass or jeweler's loupe for fine grooves in the cuts.

    I don't have a loupe, but I looked closely with a magnifying glass. I don't know what I am looking for, but in the frosted areas, I see tiny, short lines. It also has varying depths and sharp edges. Does that sound like wheel cut? Can you tell me more about the process?

    Take a look at the following image. It was the best one I could find quickly that shows the lines I'm referring to. They're most visible on the top couple of cuts at the 12 o'clock position:
