What type of material is this chinese seal?

WOW that easy money for the chinese and very sad for the buyers. I won´t be buying from china any time soon.

 

I try to stay away from items that recently came from China, but it is difficult. Quite a lot of young European sellers use dropshipping, so you think the item is made locally or at least outside China, but it isn't.

As far as Chinese antiques go, in the past I mostly bought from fellow collectors. Which doesn't mean you're completely free of contemporary imports, so I am now concentrating on other areas. It is a big world, and so much is interesting.
