What was this used for..???

    Found this in garbage pile few years back wonderin what it is and what it was used for im thinkin its some sort of tool.. Im thinkin for shoe repair could be prosthetic leg for all i know lol never seen anything like it before, any ideas welcome...

    Cobbler shoe form/mold, used to be for shoe-making.

    Yes. A shoe anvil is used to support a shoe when nailing on the sole, and for other repairs. It is not a "last", which is shaped more like a foot and used when forming the soft leather of a shoe. Lasts are usually made of wood.
