    Looks like part of a stereoscope. Missing the hood/lenses.

    Yep. Didn't realize there was more than 1 version- I actually found another brand of stereoscope in the same box TY

    There are companies making and selling replacement parts, quite reasonably priced, though you might have to figure out who made yours. There should also be a "slide holder"
