whats it,shot gun shell part

    u.m.c. co. shell with primer 12A ? ....is that a funnel for reloading
    first time i ever saw an all brass shell...

    Paper shot gun shells were invented in 1870. Prior to that they were brass. Black powder shot gun shooters still use brass shells. I had an old hand reloader for brass black powder shells.

    thanks for the link,i will show the end later,,,but its the 1886- 1910s...its doesnt have a cap to hold matches,,,its a funnel shape that fits perfectly on the shell
