I have a white bird with red beaded eyes. Dimensions are about
    4 1/2" x 2 1/2" wing to wing at widest width x 1 1/2" from top to back.
On the back of the white bird with red beaded eyes is a circle insertion
section. I was wondering was the use of this circle insertion section
example maybe a small candle holder or flower holder etc... and what
type of bird is this for example turkey? Thank you for your assistance i
    n this request. Rob

I think you need to take a picture looking straight at the bird's face.

Red rhinestone eyes it looks like, not beads.

Id guess a tea candle holder and not terribly old. As an aside, yuor title reminded me of a much loved song I hadnt heard in many a year and I thought Id share it. Some of you may remember it . I remember being very small and my hippie uncle playing it over and over.

No - Obviously a turkey, look at the tail plus a turkey with a "Snood" hanging!

I had thought pigeon until I took a look at the tail and the snood. Thanks for the reinforcement. Rob
