Featured Wine glass info please

30s sherry glasses are tiny. That's a 30s wine glass size.

 

Close but not quite!.
Someone suggested Waterford and they are very similar (so close)but apparently too many grooves on the base. Waterford 16 grooves or less.

I don’t like wine anyway as it doesn’t agree with me- red makes me feel really odd.
It’s bugging me now that I can’t ID them. Don’t know why as I’m not even vaguely interested in glasses but I like to solve a mystery!.

 

If I were to take an educated guess, I would say good quality crystal made in eastern Europe. Not even a hint of Waterford about it. Eastern European crystal is frequently seen with notched stems and that type of cutting and that type of rayed base. I don't know the names of most of those companies, other than Nachtmann and they aren't Nachtmann. That's my educated guess. Most of these when found on the R site are shown as UNKs.

 

In the trade, that stem is called zippered. Nice pieces of crystal. Have you looked for zippered stem or pineapple cut on Replacements?
