wood carving

    I just purchased two "drawings" they are both pictures that are carved into wood
    They are Asian and signed
    one is 9x19 in and the other is 7x18 in
    I would appreciate any info you can give me
    Age,Chinese or Japanese etc.

    Looks more like wood burning, Steve.

    Pyrography
    Pyrography or pyrogravure is the art of decorating wood or other materials with burn marks resulting from the controlled application of a heated object such as a poker. It is also known as pokerwork or wood burning.
