It definitely is counterproductive, you’re right there. You feel like you’re trying so hard to be more productive that it’s surely working even though you can see the opposite results. I’ve been doing it a few years habitually but it got worse in fourth quarter trying to get more stuff listed for holiday season. I delved into sleep science a bit and the funny thing is that it’s a self perpetuating pattern. The fact I’m staring a screen messing up my circadian rhythm the whole times makes it worse. I’ll try to take your advice as part of my New Year’s resolution.
