    Hello everyone

I have joined this to learn more about pottery ceramics etc by reading your posts.
It's nothing spectacular or overly valuable but I am a fan of Crown Lynn in New Zealand. The lot I have were more functional than intricately designed but were (are!) durable and suit the simple lifestyle here in New Zealand.

I recently found these Wood & Sons side plates and was wondering if you could help me as the internet hasn't provided much info.

    - When would these have been made
    - Why are they matte? They have lost their shine, or did they not have shine?

Any information would be greatly appreciated
    Thank you
