Sometimes ink gets into weird places on a printing block and that can make it hard to 'read' the image. It may help to clarify the image if you take a piece of paper, lay it over the block and secure it somehow, and then use a pencil (or crayon or charcoal) to lightly 'shade' in the image.
dynamite idea pp, thinking about it, if it ever had prints made they would be in reverse right ? i'd like to keep that original ink on though as thats a part of it really
Yeah the print and the block are inverse of each other. If you did as I suggested above, it would also be 'backwards' from what would be produced by actually printing it.
yeah leave it with me sunshine, gonna have a proper go at it, just figuring what would be best to apply
just had a mess around with it really without doing it the proper way (which i don't wanna do) with ink, its gonna be difficult so just had a play with what was around and the end result was....................interesting.........definitely not clearer though
great new joy division post punk influenced band out at the moment, check out this track on youtube.........................
i could write a book of band names, i'm always scribbling " um excuse me...whats your dogs name again ? "
