It turns out he was one of the handful of most important figures in the country to ending slavery. He was an incredibly dedicated abolitionist and it’s seems a shame he’s not even mentioned in basic elementary history. Furthermore he was for women’s suffrage which even half the other abolitionists were against it seems. A man very worthy of a token it seems.
