    Hi Paolo!

    Welcome to Antiquers.........

One reason could be that your files are too large. If you are using your phone, email them to yourself choosing medium, then post FULL IMAGE here.

    Don't worry.....you're not the first to have a problem.:cat:

I'm downloading it from my computer, but it asks me for URL information, and it doesn't direct me to my photo folder. I don't know why he doesn't recognize it? What could I do?

Well, I'm afraid you've got me there. You will need help from a savvy member.

You are using the Upload a file button on the posting page?

    First choose Upload a file:
    upload01.jpg

    Then select Choose File: upload02.jpg

Then look for the file on your computer: upload03.jpg

Excellent, sabre. But Paolo will have to start a new thread in a different (selected) forum first.:)

Don't want to overcomplicate things, but I always use the lazy person's option of right clicking on a photo and copying it in the thread.:bag:

I don't think you're overcomplicating, just adding a shortcut method to adding a photo from the web into a post (instead of copying the URL to the image and selecting the little landscape icon above).

You can do that with a web photo/image because it copies the address of the image along with the visual, but obviously, this won't work for a photo from your local file system (what a security hole that would be!).

You can copy a photo (.jpg, .png, etc) on your local computer and paste it in this box? I cannot do that.

Nope, not here, davey. Can you please explain the process? For example, I am right-clicking a JPEG file in my local folder (windows 7 professional), and selecting copy, then come here to the post text box, and pasting.
