I can do that, davey. I was referring to a file on my local hard drive. At least that's how I thought AJ said she could do it. Maybe I'm just misunderstanding.

 

The photo is in a file on my computer but it won't copy from the thumbnail, have to open it then copy. (If that helps)

 

What are you using to open it?

 

Copy and paste didn't work for me. It tried to load the picture and failed.

I'll have to do it the old fashioned way.

 

I just meant that from the list (like this one) I can't copy, I have to select the file and open it using whatever photo viewer is currently on my computer. Then copy/paste the opened photo.

 

My brother has the table in this picture.

 

Huh, I tried that earlier and it didn't work, either. Used the default Win 7 viewer app.

Now I'm on a mission because it is a more efficient process.

 

Now ya got me goin' to go try!!!! Interesting.....Yes, you DO have to open it in whatever viewing program you use to view the image in.....then 'copy', then come here and VOILA!!!!! PASTE!!!! LEARN SOMETHIN' NEW HERE ALL THE TIME!!!!

Yep, that's it, my own photos form my own hard drive. I have Win 10.
I can only do one at a time, but it works, just like when you copy pics from a website.

Well, don't I feel cheated now.

It does ultimately get uploaded to antiquers server, so it's basically another way to do an Upload a File. Too bad it doesn't work consistently for all.

 

Maybe I wasn't specific enough.....after it's in your viewing/editing program, THEN click EDIT, THEN click or select from the menu "COPY", then come here and try "PASTE"......that should work......but every Windows has its own idiosyncrasies too!!!!!!

 

Oddly enough, I just copied a graphic from a vector-type drawing program and pasted it in here and it pasted fine, which is very odd. It converted it to a png for uploading...

 

Ummmmm.....GREAT, but did it disappear???? Not seeing it........Unless in a different forum......
