Featured would you call this flow blue or not because of all the colors?

    its Copeland & Garrett but I have not seen this pattern. would you call it polychrome?

    It looks like flow blue underneath, but the colors have been cobbled (added later).

    thank you so much for the link. That one is Copeland from about 1850 the one above is Copeland Garrett about 10 years previous I think

    I actually run a Facebook group for this stuff! It's flow blue with polychrome decoration. They're not added later, this happened in the factory after first firing.

    one of the listings said the other colors are enamel that are added later. No?

    They're added after, but in the factory as part of the manufacture if you see what I mean? Not the same as clobbering: that means embellishment some time after the event.

    What is the name of your facebook group. I might as well add it to my other groups that i use to keep me informed on antiques. I don't friend a lot of people because I don't want to slog through the pics of entrees and where they checked in last but i do enjoy reading the posts of the antique groups.
