    Thanks verybrad. That confirms my thoughts on the piece. As far as I know this is the earliest Thomas Brooks piece around. Fun!

    That makes sense for a shaving stand, opening drawers with keys, keeps little ones from getting involved with a straight razor, very bad news there.
